Angelina Jolie new face of Louis Vuitton

15 Jun

Have you heard the news? Angelina Jolie is confirmed as the new face of Louis Vuitton’s Core Values ad campaign. I am sure the fashion label is delighted as she brings a certain Je ne sais quoi that makes us that little bit more interested in the brand! To kick off her duties Angelina Jolie has partaken in a very unique yet spectacular photo shoot, she looks really beautiful in this image below (enough to make me very jealous ha!).

If that is not all, Jolie is wearing her own clothes for the advertising campaign. The bag also belongs to Jolie, sadly Louis Vuitton do not make that style anymore, but with Angelina sporting this bag and it being in the ad something tells me there will be a new interest in the bag and it may just be brought back on to the shelves in some form or another!

It really is great to just see Jolie in regular clothes and not overly made up, all of which make for a really classic image. Apparently she isn’t wearing any makeup (Hmm I’m not so sure about this… I see a bit of smokey eye going on there 😉 ).

The ad campaign is expected to run for approximately 18 months. I can’t wait until I see more work from the Jolie-Vuitton ad collaboration, I think we will be in for a treat!

Are you excited for more of Angelina Jolie in upcoming months?

Eniko Mihalik

26 May

Fashion Loving loves to appreciate everything about fashion and oh yes Eniko Mihalik is right up there. The Hungarian model is an absolute beauty and her modeling is exceptional! She has been in some of the most amazing fashion shows and her photo shoots are awesome. Most recently you can find her in a beauty spread for the June/ July 2011 issue of Vogue Paris. The spread is about tanning and was shot by Giampaolo Sgura, doesn’t she just look hot!!

This is one sought after model, just this year alone she has graced the pages of Vogue Italia, W Magazine, Haper’s Bazaar and many more not to mention her ad campaigns. There’s just one simple reason why she is everywhere… this lady is just great at what she does and I most certainly love her to bits.

Check out the gallery for some more recent photo shoots!

Do you love Eniko Mihalik or what?

Dude Looks Like a Lady

28 Mar

After being snapped up by Storm Models in February 2010, Andrej Pejic has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of fashions most talked about male (yes male) models of the moment.

Andrej’s delicate androgyny is enough to leave the majority of people feeling slightly sexually confused, but luckily the industry cannot get enough of him and he has walked for Galliano, Raf Simmons, Jean Paul Gaultier , as well as being photographed for a number of magazines including Wonderland, Dazed and Confused Japan, Oyster and Vogue Paris.

Andrej plays on his elegant, feminine image and is often styled in a way which emphasizes his femininity as opposed to trying to make him look more masculine. Personally, I think he’s the shake up that the fashion industry has been needing for a while, as everyone is more than happy to exclaim their happiness about androgynous women,  but when such an androgynous male bursts onto the scene it sends a lot of people running for the hills.

If Andrej had short, dark hair then he would be a very handsome boy, but I (and many designers, photographers and stylists) love him as the classy ‘lady’ he’s made himself into.

What is your reaction towards Andrej Pejic?

FL♥ Thursday Loves – Keira Knightley

24 Mar

So I waited all weekend for the highly anticipated ad for the Coco Mademoiselle perfume with Keira Knightley. It was fun and one of the few adverts I sat through and watched right up until the end!

My Favorite thing was Keira  Knightley’s styling, of course!! It fit both the brand and Keira so well (but this was obviously expected).

Steaming Fashion

18 Mar

Here are some images that were took a while ago on a shoot that I styled. I loved choosing the clothes!! I loved crossing some styles and creating a quite funky look. The creative of the shoot was to have hints of steampunk elements mixed in with the hard and soft trends of the season… I chose military and lace, which was quite fun to do.

Steaming Fashion shoot

The shoot took place in a lovely train station that had the retro Steam Trains. It was quite a setting and the people there were fabulous and more than willing to hop into a few pictures with the model.

This shot is one of my favorites from the shoot as it features one of the lovely steampunk rings that was given to us. The ring is quite gorgeous and certainly one of it’s kind.

Look at these shoes!!! Yes I got the warm fuzzy feeling when I saw these lovely shoes for the shoot I fell in love and had to get a pair for myself after this shoot.

This shot is so cool and it features one of my lovely vintage hats! To re-visit more of my hat collection click here.

Let me know what you think!!
