Vintage Fashion

22 Jun

Nicola from Daffodil Waves Photography did an amazing recent photo shoot! I loved the retro feel to these images, for those of you who are lovers of vintage (or not… but appreciate good fashion pictures) you’re in for a treat! The dresses were all lovely Vivien of Holloway dresses, which gave the shoot that little extra spark of magic. This has go to be one of my favorite vintage shoots to date!

Really love this photographer’s work, she’s flying up the ranks super quick! For more of this fabulous vintage shoot, head on over to her blog Daffodil Waves Blog.

Steaming Fashion

18 Mar

Here are some images that were took a while ago on a shoot that I styled. I loved choosing the clothes!! I loved crossing some styles and creating a quite funky look. The creative of the shoot was to have hints of steampunk elements mixed in with the hard and soft trends of the season… I chose military and lace, which was quite fun to do.

Steaming Fashion shoot

The shoot took place in a lovely train station that had the retro Steam Trains. It was quite a setting and the people there were fabulous and more than willing to hop into a few pictures with the model.

This shot is one of my favorites from the shoot as it features one of the lovely steampunk rings that was given to us. The ring is quite gorgeous and certainly one of it’s kind.

Look at these shoes!!! Yes I got the warm fuzzy feeling when I saw these lovely shoes for the shoot I fell in love and had to get a pair for myself after this shoot.

This shot is so cool and it features one of my lovely vintage hats! To re-visit more of my hat collection click here.

Let me know what you think!!

Twiggy Inspired Shoot by Daffodil Waves Photography

19 Aug

I thought I would christen my blog with one of my favorite Fashion photo shoots to date! Nicola from Daffodil Waves Photography captured the essence of one of the greatest Fashion icons in this ‘Twiggy inspired Shoot’.

Twiggy is the ultimate British Fashion Icon of the 1960’s who in many ways brought a new life to the fashion industry, I couldn’t think of a better way to pay tribute to her!

I was fortunate to be involved in this shoot and let me tell you it was so much fun. The shoot was really inspiring, Nicola from Daffodil Waves Photography did a fantastic job in capturing the ‘Twiggy’ feel to the pictures.

So… What do you think? Let me know
